NEW SCHOOL BUS

1 Jul

Children with disabilities often face hardship when it comes to transport to and from their homes to school. Since it's inception in the 1960's, the Frank Hilton Organization has taken this in to consideration and provides transport to children depending on their need. To date, over 60 children receive transport on a daily basis.

The Frank Hilton Organization was honoured to receive an additional vehicle to its fleet of vehicles. The 32 seater bus was a kind donation from Janty Kanvan Limited, with partial funding also being provided by the Ministry of Women Children and Poverty Alleviation.

Mr. Janty Lal and Mr. Jigar Khatri from Janty Kanvan Limited and the Permanent Secretary from the Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation - Dr. Josefa Koroivueta participated in the handing over ceremony today at the Hilton Special School.

The Frank Hilton Organization firmly believes that every child has a right to quality education, regardless of his/her disability or socioeconomic standing and it is our mandate to provide access to these services to all children with disabilities.

The new bus will enable the organization to provide transport to an additional number of children to attend our schools.
