Shriners Clinic for Children

A team of skilled pediatric orthopaedic surgeons will be conducting clinics throughout Fiji this month.

The surgeons are from the Shriners Hospital for Children from Hawaii. The Hospital provides quality pediatric orthopaedic care for children throughout Hawaii and the Pacific Basin.

The clinics will be held on February 16th to the 18th in Nadi Hospital, 22nd in Labasa Hospital and 23rd to the 25th in Colonial War Memorial Hospital.

The Hilton Organization in partnership with Ministry of Health has made is visit possible throughout the years.

Shriners Hospital’s team of surgeons will diagnose and evaluate all children with orthopaedic problems.

These also include birth defects of hips, arms and legs, sports injuries, deformities of the spine, cerebral palsy, some burn scars, serious complications from bone infection of arms and legs and complicated fractures problems and more.

All care is provided to children up to the age of 18, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
