The final stage of the screening programme which was the hearing aid fitting and training of teachers to ensure accurate and consistent use of hearing aid by child, trouble shooting and providing maintenance for device etc, was conducted at Labasa Special School this week by FHO Audiology Team.
20 hearing aids were fitted for students who had been assessed earlier for fitting. The team also had a chance to engage with parents and community during this visit.
